I have worked as a Montessori Guide in both general learning and music environments for children aged 3 to 12, and hold Suzuki Philosophy, Suzuki Flute I, and Suzuki Flute II certifications, which I obtained in Buenos Aires and Lima.
In 2015, I founded Saxtiago, Chile’s first and only permanently active large saxophone ensemble, which performs a few benefit concerts each year.
In 2024, I moved to New Zealand to pursue a Master of Music by Research at the University of Auckland. My research focuses on integrating saxophone ensemble practice into individual teaching, with an approach that included principles of social justice, community music, and a central role for students’ voices.
During my first two years here, I have performed on the four most common saxophones (soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone) with the Auckland Saxophone Ensemble, the UniBand University of Auckland Concert Band, West City Concert Band, UniSax (University of Auckland Saxophone Ensemble), and saxophone quartets. I have also taught in a school and two music schools.
I am a father of two and used to be a beekeeper. I currently live in Auckland with my wife, where I study and work. I love swimming in pools and the ocean.
